Abstract
This Decree regulates arts. 22 and 23 of Law No. 14.961 on the State Agricultural Policy for Planted Forests and their products. These articles establish that operation, execution and administration of the State Forestry Register is under the responsibility of the Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation, which will coordinate the planning, implementation and evaluation of the State Agricultural Policy for Planted Forests and their Products. Illegal activities are subject to offence and penalties for regularization linked to the Forest Development Fund (FUNDEFLOR), as specified in the text.
