Decree No. 58.699 amending Decree No. 57.281 on the Statute of the Port Authority of Rio Grande do Sul Harbours (Portos RS).

This Decree approves minor changes to Decree No. 57.281 of 26 October 2023, approving the Statute of the Autoridade Portuária dos Portos do Rio Grande do Sul S.A. (Portos RS), with the main objective of updating the institutional and operational framework governing the state port authority. It refines key provisions related to the scope of the authority’s responsibilities, particularly regarding the administration and operation of ports, waterways, and navigable routes within the State of Rio Grande do Sul, ensuring greater legal clarity and alignment with existing regulatory instruments and geographic jurisdiction limits. In addition, the decree aims to strengthen the financial and structural basis of the port authority by updating its capital structure, establishing a new value for Portos RS’s share capital fully owned by the State.
