Abstract
This Decree approves the Regulation of the Mining Code. This Regulation, consisting of 20 Chapters, specifies all the requirements to be satisfied in order to perform mining activities and defines the criteria for mineral extraction mines exploration and mineral deposits. It also establishes the provisions in order to avoid any environmental pollution, defines environmental and safety obligations in relation to mining activities, regulates mining activities, including licensing, mining management plans and security. Provisions on offences and penalties are prescribed in the text.
