Abstract
This Decree approves the Statute of the Brazilian Institute for the Environment and Renewable Natural Resources - IBAMA. It consists of 32 articles specifying composition, duties and competencies of aforementioned administration in environmental sector. It regulates environment exploitation requirements, establishes controls to be carried out in order to manage natural resources, etc.
