Abstract
This Decree regulates Law No. 10.779 to provide for the granting of unemployment insurance benefits, during the closed season, to professional artisanal fishermen who carry out their activity exclusively and uninterruptedly. In particular, it regulates the granting of unemployment insurance benefits, in the amount of one monthly minimum wage, to artisanal fishermen as defined in article 12 of Law No. 8.212 of 24 July 1991, and article 11 of Law No. 8.213 of 24 July 1991, provided that they carry out their professional activity uninterruptedly, in an artisanal and individual manner or under a family economy regime, during the fisheries closed season for the preservation of the species.
