Abstract
This Law establishes financial compensation to be granted for unemployment insurance, during the fishing closed season, to professional artisanal fishing activities. In particular, it specifies that the artisanal fishers dealt with in art. 12 of Law No. 8.212 of July 24, 1991, and art. 11 of Law No. 8.213 of July 24, 1991, as long as they carry out their professional activity without interruption, in an artisanal way, individually or in a family economy regime, they will be entitled to benefit from unemployment insurance, in the amount of 1 (one) salary -monthly minimum, during the closed period of fishing activity for the preservation of the species.
