Decree No. 8.576 regulating Law No. 18.826 on unoccupied lands belonging to the State of Goiás.

This Decree establishes regulatory standards for the land regularization of unoccupied lands belonging to the domain of the State of Goiás, in accordance with Law No. 18.826 of 19 May 2015. In the Regularization of Occupation, provided for in Section II of Chapter VII of the related legislation, the following administrative procedures will be adopted: I – survey; II – notification; III – processing. The State body responsible for managing public lands, through its land regularization unit, verifying the existence of unoccupied land under the conditions established by art. 40 of Law No. 18.826 will notify the occupant to, within a period of up to 60 days, the interest in acquiring the respective property.
