Abstract
This Decree creates the Pantanal Mato-Grossense National Park within the State of Mato Grosso, with an estimated area of 135,000 hectares, under the jurisdiction of the Brazilian Institute for Forestry Development (IBDF), the Pantanal Mato-Grossense National Park has the primary purpose of protecting its flora, fauna, and natural beauty, and is subject to the special regime of the Forestry Code, established by Law No. 4.771 of 15 September 1965.
