Abstract
This Law, consisting of 6 articles, establishes guidelines, goals and actions for the establishment of State Policy on School Feeding within the State of Maranhão. The State Policy objectives are: guaranteeing to State primary school students the permanent access to healthy and adequate food as part of State Policy on food and sustainable nutrition security, in accordance with Law No. 15.982 of 19 January 2006; contributing to the growth, bio-psycho-social development, learning, school performance, the formation of healthy eating habits and promoting the health of students.
