Law No. 10.445 providing for the use of foodstuff produced by family farming within the State school system.

This Law provides for the use of foodstuff produced by family farming within the State school system. It establishes that the preparation of foodstuff integrating the school feeding of the State Educational Network should be made by using food products produced by agricultural holdings registered in the family farming and rural family enterprises in the State of Mato Grosso. Family Farming and Rural Family Enterprise are those who practice activities in rural areas and simultaneously meet the requirements set forth in Federal Law No. 11.326 of 24 July 2006, as follows: does not hold, in any way, an area greater than four fiscal modules (units of agrarian measurement); use mainly the family labour force in the economic activities of its establishment or enterprise; has a minimum percentage of family income originated from the economic activities of its establishment or enterprise, as defined by the Executive Branch; etc.
