Abstract
This Law authorizes renegotiation and extension for debts arising from rural credit operations under the Special Credit Program for Agrarian Reform - Procera and creates the Programme for Food Acquisition to incentivate family farming. Creditors who are not responding for their obligations are subject to the following conditions: renegotiation for a period of up to eighteen years, incorporating the interests referred to in item II and calculating annual installments; from the renegotiation date, the transactions will be subject to an interest rate of 1,15 % per year; financial agents within one hundred eighty days after the date on which the regulations of this Law is published ask formally for renegotiation.
