Law No. 11.345 amending Law No. 10.259 on the Native Vegetation Restoration Unit in the State of Pará.

This Law amends Law No. 10.259 of 2023 to strengthen the governance and implementation of Units for the Recovery of Native Vegetation in the State of Pará by clarifying institutional responsibilities and introducing the Integrated Action Plan (Plano de Atuação Integrada – PAI) as a strategic planning instrument. Its main objectives are to support the establishment and consolidation of these units through coordinated government action; promote territorial strengthening and integration with local communities; and advance environmental recovery alongside sustainable development by combining measures such as environmental and land regularization, payment for ecosystem services, restoration of degraded areas, fire prevention, social services, technical assistance, infrastructure, and education. The law also seeks to foster inclusive, climate‑just, and productive territorial development through integrated actions led by the environmental authority, while ensuring that the PAI complements—rather than replaces—existing contractual and legal obligations.
