Law No. 12.386 creating the Family Farming Support Fund (FUNDAAF).

This Law, under the State Secretariat for Family Farming (SEAF), establishes the Family Farming Support Fund (FUNDAAF), to be managed by SEAF itself. FUNDAAF aims to provide financial support for family farming programmes and projects, based on the following premises: I - to boost the development of family farming in the State; II - to encourage land and environmental regularization of rural properties; III - facilitating access to credit lines for product industrialization and trade; IV - encourage production by adopting new technologies; V - provide opportunities for local and regional production and supply; VI - organizing family farming production chains; VII - encourage product agro-industrialization and legalization; VIII - encourage product agro-industrialization and legalization; IX - encourage family succession and reduce the rural exodus; X - encourage the inclusion of new production chains and business opportunities for family farming.
