Abstract
This Law, consisting of 13 articles creates the State Fund for Environmental Protection (FEMA) with the purpose of concentrating resources destined to financing plans, programmes or projects aiming at the control, preservation, conservation and/or recovery of the environment within the State of Paraná. FEMA will be administered by the Environmental Institute of Paraná (IAP). The financial resources of FEMA shall be applied through public agencies of the direct and indirect State administration and Municipalities as well as private non-profit entities whose objectives are in line with those above established.
