Law No. 13.648 providing for the production of fruit pulp and juice in rural family establishment and amends Law No. 8.918 of 14 July 1994.

This Law, consisting of 8 articles, provides for the production of fruit pulp and juice proceeded in rural family establishment and amends Law No. 8.918 of 14 July 1994. The Law specifies that the above mentioned production must be made with raw material produced exclusively in the rural family establishment and in the maximum quantity established for each product according to the regulatory norm. The procedures for registering the establishment and the product labelling requirements will be simplified, as provided by a regulatory standard. Rural family establishments, the production of pulp and fruit juice and the products obtained must meet technological, healthy, identity and quality requirements.
