Abstract
This Law amends State Law No. 10.720 of 22 June 2016, which establishes the State Policy for Incentivizing the Generation and Use of Solar and Wind Energy in the State of Paraíba. Its primary objective is to expand the scope of the existing renewable energy policy by adding article 6-A. Through this amendment, the law seeks to strengthen the transition toward a more sustainable and diversified energy matrix by recognizing biomass and cogeneration as strategic renewable energy sources alongside solar and wind.
