Abstract
This Law, consisting of 7 articles, establishes requirements for breeding, trade and transport of stingless bees (meliponíneas) within the State of Santa Catarina. It authorizes the creation, management and other activities involving stingless bee colonies within rural and urban areas of each municipality, subject to the provisions of the Municipal Plan through the issuance of Animal Transit Guide (GTA), issued by the Integrated Agricultural Development Company of Santa Catarina (ClDASC).
