Abstract
This Law, consisting of 40 articles divided into seven Chapters, provides for the production, storage, trade, internal transportation, use, final disposal of waste and packaging, inspection of pesticides, their components and related products, within the State of Goiás. The inspection shall be carried out by inspectors and supervisors of the state agricultural protection agency and by the state health and environment agencies, provided that they are registered in the respective professional council. The coordination and execution of the activities related to production, consumption, storage, trade, internal transportation, use and final disposal of empty containers of pesticides and related residues within the State of Goiás may have the support of governmental bodies.
