Law No. 2.372 amending Law No. 644 on the Agricultural and Livestock Protection Agency of the State of Roraima (ADERR).

This Law amends Law No. 644/2008 on the Agricultural and Livestock Protection Agency of Roraima (ADERR), with the primary objective of strengthening the institutional structure and operational capacity of the agency responsible for animal and plant health protection. It expands the organizational framework of ADERR by introducing new administrative, technical, and regional units, including those dedicated to epidemiological surveillance, inspection of animal and plant products, sanitary education, and regulatory oversight. These structural changes aim to enhance the effectiveness of agricultural defense services, including monitoring, inspection, and control of sanitary risks in the agricultural sector. In addition, the law seeks to improve governance, coordination, and service delivery in agricultural health and safety systems by creating new managerial positions, redefining institutional roles, and reinforcing administrative and financial management capacities. It also provides for adjustments in personnel organization and remuneration linked to operational demands.
