Law No. 3.437 regulating aquaculture activity within the State of Rondônia.

This Law, consisting of 8 Chapters, regulates aquaculture activity within the State of Rondônia. It defines all sectors related to this sector and specifies the requirements to be met in order to perform any aquaculture activity. Chapter four and five specify licensing for aquaculture activities should be carried out in harmony to environmental sector, according to Federal Law No. 12.651. It applies for and classifications for aquaculture sustainable exploitation and management, regulated by the competent State authority, which will be responsible to issue environmental licensing. It prescribes also for offences and penalties for illegal activities.
