Abstract
This Law provides for the production and marketing of artisanal cheeses in the State of Rio de Janeiro, regulating Article 10-A of Federal Law No. 1.283 of 19 December 1950 and Federal Decree No. 9.918 of 18 July 2019. The conditions for the production of artisanal cheeses, with a view to ensuring the safety of the products, will be established in specific regulations based on observing the quality and identity parameters established for each type of cheese. In order to produce artisanal cheeses, the establishment must be registered by the health control body of the state or municipality.
