Abstract
This Law approves the Ecological-Economic Coastal Zoning of the Northern Coastal Zones of Sergipe, referred to in art. 11 of Law No. 8.634 of 27 December 2019, as amended by Law No. 8.924 of 22 November 2021. The purpose of the Ecological-Economic Coastal Zoning is to regulate the land-use planning necessary for the sustainable development of the coastal zone, subdividing it into territorial zones identified on the basis of the need for protection, conservation, recovery and sustainable use of natural resources, as well as internal dynamics and contrasts, in addition to recognising, valuing and respecting the socio-environmental and cultural diversity of the peoples of traditional communities in all the aspects addressed in Federal Decree 6.040 of 7 February 2007 and other related federal legislation.
