Abstract
This Law provides for the State Policy for the Aquaculture Sustainable Development, formulated, coordinated and executed with the objective of promoting: I - the realization of the potential of the State of Pará for the practice of the most diverse aquaculture modalities, maintaining a lasting harmonious interaction with ecosystems and local communities; II - the increase in State fish production from aquaculture enterprises and the generation of employment and income; III - socio-economic development, based on taking advantage of opportunities within this production chain, focusing on internal and external markets.
