Norm SEMAS No. 9 establishing procedures and criteria for being included in the Registry of exploiters and consumers of forestry products within the Para State (CEPROF/PA) and using the Marketing and Transportation System of Forestry Products (SISFLORA/PA).

This Norm, consisting of 5 Chapters, establishes procedures and criteria for being included in the Registry of exploiters and consumers of forestry products within the Para State (CEPROF/PA) and using the Marketing and Transportation System of Forestry Products (SISFLORA/PA). The CEPROF/PA is the mandatory registration database to individuals and companies responsible for projects aimed at performing the following activities: extraction, collection, processing, transformation, manufacturing, saling, storage or consumption of products, by-products or raw material of any forestry products, including plantations and reforestation, destined to energy source. Are exempt from registration in CEPROF/PA physical or legal entities that use forestry raw materials for domestic purposes and/or improve in their rural property, river cleaning as well as for carrying out handycraft activities (carried out individually or by the family unit). The SISFLORA/PA, whose Governing Body is the SEMAS/PA, is a necessary instrument to implement the registration, marketing and transportation of forestry products as a result of the activities described in art. 2 of this Norm.
