Abstract
This Order creates the Forest+ Carbon modality, according with Order No. 288 of 2 July 2020. The voluntary market for carbon credits aimed at reducing emissions from deforestation and forest degradation, recognized by CONAREDD+ Resolution No. 03 of 22 July 2020, will not entail any obligation regarding the accounting, adjustment or registration in the national emissions inventory by the Federal Government, thus allowing the voluntary market to establish its own rules and standards, without any responsibility or correlation with the commitments assumed by the Brazilian government.
