Abstract
This Provisional Measure amends the regime for mineral products exploitation. Amendments deal with several related aspects, such as: organization, regulation, discipline and supervision of mining research, processing, marketing and use of mineral products; licensing regime, depending on the licensing title; mining activity encompasses research, mine development, beneficiaries, mineral marketing by the mining authorized establishments and closure of mines; research authorization incurs into specific tax payments; occurrence of another useful mineral substance not included in the research authorization should be reported to National Department of Mineral Production (DNPM), etc.
