Abstract
This Resolution, consisting of four Chapters and 2 Annexes, establishes environmental licensing requirements to be satisfied in order to perform any activity which may cause local environmental impact for the exercise of municipal powers within the State of Rio Grande do Sul. It specifies that Municipalities of the State of Rio Grande do Sul will be responsible for the forestry and environmental licensing of projects and activities that cause or may cause environmental impact at local level, as classified by typology of activity in Annex I and II.
