Abstract
This Resolution, consisting of 9 Chapters divided into 21 articles, regulates the requirement to be satisfied in order to perform commercial or sport fishing activity within the waters under the jurisdiction of the State of Mato Grosso do Sul. It specifies that the fishing will be classified as: Commercial fishing: with the commercial purpose, pursued by professional fishers, authorized by IMASUL, which makes the fishing the profession or principal means of life; Sport fishing: performed with leisure, sport or tourism, for amateur fishers, authorized by state or federal agency; Subsistence fishing: the purpose of subsistence exercised by authorized professional fishers that landed fish from the boat without motor caught only using simple rod, hand hook and line, not allowed to trade; Scientific fishing: the exercised research purposes authorized by IMASUL and / or appropriate federal agency.
