These Rules implement provisions of the Boat Registration Act by prescribing: (a) the form of an application for registration of a boat, an application for the grant of master's licence, a certificate of registration and a licence; (b) the classes of boats that the New Providence Port Authority may register; and (c) the requirements for obtaining registration of a boat and requirements regarding the equipment, staffing and operation of boats.
