Abstract
This Act makes provision for the registration of vessels used for navigation of a gross tonnage less than 500 tons with a specified port authority. The Act sets out procedures for such a registration and prohibits the use of boats that are not registered. The Act also provides for the inspection of boats and the licensing of masters of boats. Licences may be granted at such conditions as the licensing authority may deem to see fit.
