Abstract
These Regulations implement provisions of the Commercial Recreational Watercraft Act, 2006 by: prescribing the form of application for licences under the Act; prescribing a code of ethics to be observed by craft operators and other rules relative to the operation of crafts; and providing for the training and certification of operators and the inspection of crafts.
Some of the requirements imposed on operators are: they shall not pollute, not disturb wildlife and avoid wildlife protection areas.
