Abstract
This Act concerns maritime liability and claims for ships of The Bahamas. The Act, among other things, declares the provisions of the Convention on Limitation of Liability for Maritime Claims 1976 as set out in Part I of the Second Schedule to have the force of law in The Bahamas. It also concerns exclusion of liability of owner of a Bahamian ship for any loss or damage in certain cases.
