Abstract
This Act lays down provisions on the continuation and functions of the Public Procurement Department; functions of the Chief Procurement Officer; duties and powers of the Public Procurement Board; functions of procuring entities and units; functions and powers of tender committees; procurement planning and methods; bidding process; procedures for complaints; appeal to the Court of Appeal; debartment procedures; recording of the procurement and the management of the procurement contract; and offences and penalties.
