Abstract
This Act establishes the Utilities Regulation and Competition Authority (URCA) as a body corporate, defines its functions, powers and internal organization makes provision with respect to the administration and management of public water supply, sewerage and other public services. URCA shall be managed by a Board and shall have such functions as are conferred on it by this Act or under any other law. It shall have power to issue Regulations.
