Livestock (Amendment) Rules and Regulations of Bhutan, 2022.

These Rules and Regulations amend the Livestock Rules and Regulations of Bhutan 2017 (principal Rules and Regulations). They add a new section 26A after section 26, requiring registration of pet breeding facility. In Chapter VIII of the principal Rules and Regulations relating to zoonosis management, sections 143, 144, 146, 147, 148, 149, 151, 152, 153, 154, 162, 163, 165, 166, 167 are amended and new sections 146A and 166A are added. In Chapter X relating to offences and penalties, sections 209, 210, 211, 212, 215, 216 are amended and new sections 216A, 217A, 217B, 217C are added. In section 225, the definitions of Animal Shelter, Local Authority and Pet Animal are amended and definition of Premises is newly added.
