Abstract
These Regulations require that specified risk material of every animal that is slaughtered by an abattoir or export slaughterhouse shall be removed immediately after the slaughtering of that animal, and shall be burned or buried. The Minister may, by Statutory Instrument, specify the parts of a bovine animal that are likely to be contaminated with the agent that causes BSE.
