Abstract
These Regulations prohibit the manufacture, importation, use, handling, storage, transportation, distribution and sale of anabolic hormones and thyrostatic substances for use in animals. The Regulations also define certain exemptions from this rule. The Director Animal Health and Production shall decide on sampling and testing of animals and animal produce for residues of the anabolic hormonal or thyrostatic substances. The Regulations define measures and offences in relation with the presence of prohibited residues in animals or food.
