Abstract
This Act provides rules for public procurement and the disposal of public assets including land.
The Act prescribes that a local authority shall be responsible for the management of all procurement and disposal activities within its jurisdiction in accordance with the provisions of this Act. There is hereby established for each local authority a Performance Monitoring Committee, which shall monitor and review the management of all procurement and disposal activities by a local authority.
