Decree No. 42 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food implementing Law No. 24-Z “On pedigree stockbreeding”.

This Decree establishes zootechnical (veterinary) requirements with a view of improving pedigree stock reproduction and, in particular, marking of pedigree stock, state registration of pedigree stock in pedigree herd books, confirmation of the origin of four generations of ancestors of pedigree stock and of genetic value of pedigree stock. It shall be applicable to pedigree cattle, swine, horses, sheep, goats and apiculture.
