Abstract
The present Law establishes the legal grounds for the mandatory and voluntary certification of the produce, works and service, regulates the legal relations emerging in the process of certification, as well as the rights and the liability of the certification participants. The document consists of 4 Chapters that contain 17 Articles. Chapter 1 lays down the general provisions. Chapter 2 regards mandatory certification. Chapter 3 regards voluntary certification. Chapter 4 lays down the final provisions. Certification of the products can be carried out with the aim of ensuring the safety of produce for life, health and property of the population, as well as for the protection of the environment; protection of the country market from substandard and unsafe imported products. The procedure of import of the produce subject to the mandatory certification is to be set by the bodies of the state administration responsible for the customs control and certification.
