Ministerial Decree No. 1030 on forest management.

The present Regulation establishes common rules for carrying out forest management of the public forest stock that includes inventory, registration of the forest stock and conservation of protection forest. The purpose of forest management shall be: (a) mapping of the forest stock; (b) inventory with a view to classify the categories of forest land, forest species and age groups of forests; (c) exposure of the plots of the public forest stock requiring main, intermediate and other felling; (d) specification of areas destined for afforestation and reforestation; (e) secondary forest management, including extraction of non-timber products; (f) access to information on the public forest stock.
