Ministerial Decree No. 1049 validating the Regulation on the issuance of authorization for import, export and transit of conditionally pathogenic and pathogenic genetically engineered organisms.

This Ministerial Decree establishes that the issuance of authorization for import, export and transit of conditionally pathogenic and pathogenic genetically engineered organisms shall be carried out by the state institution “Scientific research institute of epidemiology and microbiology subordinated to the Ministry of Public Health. The applicants must submit the application and the following documentation: (a) a copy of accreditation certificate; (b) import authorization issued by the authorized institution of the importer; (c) packaging act. Foreign documentation must be translated into Russian or Belarusian languages and certified. The authorization shall be issued within ten days from the date of filing application.
