Ministerial Decree No. 1851 validating the Regulation on state supervision over the state, management, protection, conservation of forest fund and reforestation.

This Ministerial Decree establishes the modalities of state supervision over the state, management, protection, conservation of forest fund and reforestation. State supervision shall be carried out by the officials of State Forest Service subordinated to the Ministry of Forest Management and by the officials of the State Inspection for Protection of Animal and Vegetable Kingdom attached to the President of the Republic of Belarus. The aforesaid officials shall have the following plenary powers: (a) request forest-related information from forest managers of all the categories; (b) inspect plots of forests fund subject to forest management; (c) verify forest management documentation; (d) give order for remedy of defaults related to the infringement of forest legislation; (e) make decisions for suspension (restriction) of forest management practices; and (f) draw up reports on administrative offences related to forest management.
