Ministerial Decree No. 412 validating the Regulation on performance of environmental audit.

This Ministerial Decree establishes the modalities of performance of environmental audit with a view of ensuring environmental security and reduction of risks of negative environmental impact through independent control of activities for compliance with environmental requirements set forth by the national legislation. Environmental audit shall not include either state environmental audit of project documentation or supervision in the sphere of environmental protection and rational management of natural resources. Environmental audit shall be performed by individual entrepreneurs and legal persons with university degree in ecological sciences, natural sciences, techniques and technologies. Environmental audit can be voluntary or mandatory.
