Ministerial Decree No. 8 validating the Regulation on the state environmental audit.

This Ministerial Decree establishes the modalities of organization and carrying out the state environmental audit evaluation of the project documentation for the construction of economic enterprises, sets requirements for project documentation and for the expert opinion on the matter. The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection shall be the competent authority as regards environmental audit of nature management projects, water supply, sewerage, heating, land use planning and projecting of hunting grounds. Project documentation submitted for environmental audit must contain: (a) general information; (b) “Environmental protection” section, including calculation of emissions into atmosphere, waste generation and recycling, land and forest protection; (c) technical data; and (d) ecological passport of the project.
