Presidential Decree No. 3 validating the Regulation on tenders for selection of legal persons for exclusive import of liquors.

This Presidential Decree establishes the modalities of carrying out tenders that must be conducted once a year for selection of legal persons for exclusive import of liquors. The following categories of legal persons shall not be authorized for the participation in tenders: (a) bankrupts; (b) those who have submitted inaccurate information to tender commission; and (c) those that do not process liquors. The participants must submit application containing the following information: (a) requisites – full name, location, telephone and fax); (b) full name of the official representative; (c) list of liquors subject to import; (d) the purpose of import (processing, wholesale and/or retail trade); (e) amount of import; and (f) availability or absence of arrears.
