Abstract
The sale of commercial timber in harvested form shall be carried out on the basis of written information on the volumes of sales of standing timber outside of exchange trading, received from local government authorities, and a civil law contract concluded between a legal entity engaged in forestry, subordinated to the Ministry of Forestry, and a legal entity or individual entrepreneur specified in the written information of the local government. The essential terms of a civil law contract concluded with a legal entity or individual entrepreneur specified in the written information of the local government and providing for the sale by them of commercial timber in harvested form from the fund of the regional executive committee are: (a) the intended use of the commercial timber; (b) liability for the improper use of commercial timber sold in the amount of three times the cost of such timber, purchased from a legal entity engaged in forestry subordinate to the Ministry of Forestry and used for other than its intended purpose; (c) submission by a legal entity or individual entrepreneur to a legal entity engaged in forestry subordinate to the Ministry of Forestry of a report on the intended use of commercial timber. The form of a civil law contract providing for the sale of commercial timber to a legal entity or individual entrepreneur in harvested form from the regional executive committee fund shall be established by the Ministry of Forestry.
