Abstract
This Act amends the definition of disaster emergency in the principal Act and expands its scope by including plant pest, or disease, or animal pest as a notifiable plant pest or a quarantine pest which are declared or identified by Orders made under the Belize Agricultural Health Authority Act.

An Act to amend the Disaster Preparedness and Response Act, Chapter 145 of the Substantive Laws of Belize, Revised Edition 2020; to expand the definition of disaster emergency to include Orders made under the Belize Agricultural Health Authority Act in relation to quarantine pests, notifiable pests or diseases of potential or substantial national economic importance; and to provide for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
