Fisheries (Amendment)(No. 2) Regulations 1997 (S.I. No. 68 of 1997).

These Regulations amend the principal Regulations by the addition of provisions regarding fishing for crustacean: section 3 now prescribe that crawfish of a length of less than 3 inches or that carries eggs may be taken for aquaculture purposes and under special licence granted by the Minister; section 5 prohibits the setting of lobster traps without a special licence of the Minister between 15 February and 14 June of each year.
