Abstract
This Act amends the Forests Act in various sections in relation to forest offences and penalties for such offences. A new section (20A) is inserted in the principal Act. This section grants power to the Minister to amend fines. A new (Second) Schedule establishes fines for the unlawful possession of forest produce (i.e. logs or swan timber of specified tree species).
